An excellent Italian bench capper that adjusts automatically for differing
height bottles - just raise the handle upright to release the capping head and
slide it up or down the shaft (the shaft is spring-loaded for easy upward
adjustment). When the head is on top of a bottle, move the handle forward to
lock the capping head in place on the shaft before capping.
Unlike traditional bench cappers, there is no need to constantly unscrew and
tighten a shaft adjusting nut to accommodate different-height bottles - just
raise the handle and slide the head on top of the next bottle. This 19” tall
steel and plastic capper will cap bottles ranging from 4” to 12” tall, including
American champagne bottles.
