Pros:
Great licorice tone. I used this in both a porter and stout that I brewed. Gives the brew another layer of complexity that not everyone will be able to pick out. But watch out to much and your brew will be overpowered by this spice taking away from the malt and hoppiness.
Cons:
Can be overpowering if you use to much. Experiment to find the level you like.
