The Dutch first planted coffee trees on the island of
Java at the beginning of the eighteenth century, and for years, Java was the
world leader in coffee production. Java produced so much coffee that "java" become a nickname for coffee. The
Jampit (or Djampit) Estate has been operating since the turn of the
century, and has been revived in recent years to again produce fine
arabica coffee. This coffee has a full body and light dry flavor. Blend this with 50%
of our Yemen Matari Moka and get the famous "Moka Java" coffee flavor.
