14.5 GALLON FERMENATOR CASTERS (no air shipment) Description
This set of 3 casters will fit Blichmann 14.5 gallon conical fermenters (they do not fit other brands). These swivel casters make it easy to move your Fermenator around your brewery. The casters feature locks so you can lock your Fermentator in place to prevent unwanted movement. These fit all F2 and F3 Blichmann Fermenators with channel shaped stainless legs (they do not fit older Fermenators with L shaped legs). They add 3.25" to Fermentator height.
These do not fit the extension legs (item E25), and should not be used with the extension legs for safety reasons.
Allow 2-3 weeks for delivery, as these are drop shipped from the manufacturer in Indiana. No air shipment on this item.

Pros:
The wheels work great, making a 10 gallon batch easy to roll from one place on another. Also provides more height/room to get to the bottom dump valve.
Cons:
The wheels come with bars that run from one leg to the next for support (so they do not "do the splits" as you move the thing around). The problem is, the bars are as the exact height to make getting to dump valve problematic. Not great engineering for an engineering company. I just leave the bar off between the legs where the valve is pointed... seems to be plenty stable with only 2 of the 3 bars installed -- so long as you watch what you are doing.
