xl 1084
Pros: I especially like this style of yeast in many of my ales. It,s very clean and ferments out well, as a good yeast should. All the yeasts that I've tried have quick activation and have done a very good job.
Cons: a little pricey, but for consistency and reliability, I suppose it may be worth it.

Good yeast strain
Pros: It can be used to brew many styles of ale without being overpowering. The XL pouch is Convenient for next day pitches.
Cons: Higher price of the XL. Still won't discourage those that can't increase a small pouch.

Nice Yeast, that 1084 (Irish Ale Yeast)
Pros: Very Smooth Taste and Balance; Dry, Roasted Character comes through to the tongue and palate very nicely!
I say "Keep this Old Irishman at Bay; It's a Keeper, Mate!"

Cons: "Nothing Bad about this One"
